So i was talking to my dad and he was trying to explain to me why he doesnt want me to mess up or have a mistake. but you know what? i think every parents should let their kids screw up on something. not everyone is the same. and like the kid should learn how to get back up after they fall. its like getting shot, if you get shot, your not just gonna lay there and die like an idiot, your gonna get up and try to get help or something. parents should let their kids learn from their own mistakes, they cant prevent everything. sure, they dont want to see us get hurt. but the longer they keep that up the more its gonna hurt us when it happens.
